Program Overview

Computer support specialists provide technical assistance, support, and advice to individuals and organizations that depend on information technology. They work within organizations that use computer systems, for computer hardware or software vendors, or for third-party organizations that provide support services on a contractual basis. Support specialists are usually differentiated between technical support specialists and help-desk technicians.

According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, computer support specialists earn a median pay up to $57,910.

Specific Facility, Tools Or Educational Tools Available

The hardware lab includes machines that students upgrade, install and test.
ATC is Microsoft, CompTIA, Amazon Web Services Academy. Students have access to free software, additional training, discount and vouchers for industry certifications. All of our courses within the major include labs.
