An articulation agreement is a formal agreement to transfer credits from one educational institution or system to another. Athens 91³Ô¹ÏÍø College graduates can take advantage of several local and state-wide articulation agreements to minimize repeating coursework and to facilitate a smooth transfer of earned credits into a four-year college or university. *
Articulation (Transfer) Agreements
University System of Georgia (USG) General Education Transfer Courses:
The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø College System of Georgia (TCSG)-USG agreement specifies 27 general education courses that are guaranteed to transfer between SACSCOC-accredited institutions, including Georgia College, Georgia Southern, Georgia 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, Kennesaw State University, University of Georgia, and Valdosta State University.
Georgia Independent College Association (GICA) General Education Transfer Courses:
The GICA and TCSG agreement specifies general education core classes that transfer to private institutions, including Brenau University, Mercer University, Berry College, Piedmont College, Shorter University, and Young Harris College.
